All right, I'm doing this!
Right now, I have some many visual ideas running around in my head, but no art of them. I do, however, have the love of the written word, the love of freehand copying art onto whiteboards, and love of contests. So, the Contest!
To submit:
Send me a note with "Contest" in the subject. All you need to include is a link to the deviation. It can be anything, except literature. I have that already.
Criterion:
[link][link]These are my first two sections of the Superhero saga. If you have read them, you can tell that there will be five (yes, five) superheroes working together, and, as such, they need outfits. However, as these are real people, who are not overly proportioned, they need to have fairly normal outfits. I will give basic guidelines as to appearance and attire, and then it's up to you. Feel free to choose whichever one you like best, or do more than one in one art. It's up to you!
Ben Jennings / Urben:
Average build, ninja outfit, leather jacket, blue visor in mask (my avatar is an oversimplified view of Ben's head), katana
Power: Teleportation
Jessica Barnes / Waiv:
Above average build, blond hair tank top, capris, mute
Power: Sound wave creation
Stephen Wright / Chip:
Robot (have fun with this one, just don't make him overly powerful looking)
Power: Communicate with machines
Kim Wu / Lite:
Short, Chinese, short black hair, t-shirt and jeans
Power: Speed, hard light production
Butch:
Tall, African-American, above average build, no shirt(?)
Power: Size manipulation
Prizes:
Ahhh, we get to the heart of the matter. So far, I haven't compiled many prizes, besides what I can offer. So, if you want to offer a prize (y'know, a feature or something), note me, and I'll add you, plus be really nice to you. If I don't get too many prizes added, I might stop the contest, so add, you!

What's HFA?
HFA is Huge Fan Art, and is the process by which fan art is made by freehanding existing art on a whiteboard, taking art from several inches to several feet. HFA is often done in a classroom, and professors will sometimes leave it up for several days. Either way, it is fan art. See my gallery for examples.
DEADLINE:
So far, I'm thinking the end of the year, just so I have a definite date.
